WHAT IS 'ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL'?
All's Well That Ends Well is a play written by William Shakespeare in 1605.
409 years later, our dream is to adapt this play to the screen and make a feature length film to distribute locally, and then nationally in 2014. This is an independent film set in the early 20th century with a twist.
The video you see above you is a preliminary screen test we shot in January 2013 to establish 'the look' of our film. We have been building our project from this ever since.
WHAT ARE OUR PLANS EXACTLY?
We are currently shooing our film entirely in the Derwent Valley of Tasmania, Australia. This film has been in pre-production stage for the last eight months and we will begin shooting in the start of July, 2013. We have already adapted the story to a screenplay, signed up all our cast & crew and secured our locations.
Our campaign is running for sixty days and will overlap with our shooting schedule so we can show you our progress with weekly photographs, videos and stories. Below are some preliminary photographs of our locations.
WHAT DO WE NEED THE MONEY FOR?
We have gathered our resources to the best of our abilities but we have still come up short. We need more funds in order for this project to blossom into a massive success. We need help to fund our shooting, i.e. costumes, props, lighting, catering, equipment hire etc. So spread the word, tell your friends and family about our dream! If you can give your support, we will be eternally grateful!
WHO ARE WE, ANYWAY?
We are a small independent film company called Fentonbury Films. We're founded by a handful of misfit family members and led by Peter Wilson, a schoolteacher currently working in the heart of Tasmania's Derwent Valley.
