During the Canning By-Election members of the sub-Reddit Circlejerk Australia challenged Pirate Party Australia to a Counter-Strike Global Offensive tournament as a means to raise funds to pay for the campaign. Due to being too busy with actual campaigning, we declined. 

Discussions began again after the by-election and a serious tournament was planned. 

The plan is to raise funds through this Pozible campaign. The money raised will be the winnings of the tournament. If Pirate Party Australia wins, it will go into our warchest. If Circlejerk Australia wins, it goes to a charity of their choosing, which is the Fred Hollows Foundation.

The biggest obstacle will be organising the teams to meet at a specific time, date and server. One of the members of Circlejerk has created their own server so everyone only needs to turn up.
