The Canning by-election has been called for the 19th of September and the Pirate Party needs your help to take our vision and platform to this election.

We do not receive large corporate donations like the major parties, as such we rely on you, our members, supporters, and the interested and concerned people of Australia, to be able to contest and fund election campaigns.

with the AEC, the remaining $2,000 will be spent on corflute signs, How
to Vote handouts, flyers and other advertising.
Excess funding will go towards communicating our message to a wider audience through advertising and the production of further materials as necessary.
We hope to get a good result in the election, but regardless of how many votes we receive, a by-election campaign is one of the most useful avenues for expanding our reach and advancing our message to a wide array of new people.
By contesting this election we will ensure that voters are given a real choice and are able to register their disappointment with the major parties and their collusion on ever more draconian national security laws, data retention and censorship.
