WHO WE ARE

Limb was created by long term friends Sinead Hargreaves and Andria Kiefer

Sinead Hargreaves has a vast background in styling. For the last 4 years has been running a successful free lance styling business as well as styling clients for Australia’s top personal styling agency; The Style Agency.

Andria Kiefer completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Fashion Technology in 2013. While studying she worked with retail stores, for 4 years. Soon after completing her degree she moved to New York City for 12 months and interned for Proenza Schouler, Apiece Apart, and Creatures of Comfort. She in turn learned a broad knowledge of production planning, understanding small fashion label growth and the mechanics of developing a product to marketing said product.





We believe in a slowing down of Fashion. Fads and fast trends are nothing to do with us. We believe that a wardrobe should consist of everlasting pieces that you will want to keep forever and quality will allow this.

Limb also want to be well known for the nurturing of a healthy body image among women. Therefore striving to reach a large audience of female body shapes and personal individuality and this is how we intend to achieve this:

-Features like wraps and adjustable closures for the purpose of fitting a broader range of body shape and size.
-All of limb’s designs are offered in a minimum of two colour way options, pattern for the louder more expressive female and a block colour for a more minimal and classic style
-Designing our own print and custom colour for the season gives our label a distinctive and unique experience for the buyer.
-Our fit model reflects a healthy body shape, size 8-10, with natural waist and hip measurements. These block measurements will ultimately allow everyday women to comfortably fit our clothing, rather than the fashion worlds perception of what the “normal” figure should look like.
-Quality is assured through carefully sourced finishes and trim, to give longevity to every piece, nothing is sub par.
-All Limb designs are thoughtfully created to be the basis of an all year round wardrobe.


About the Collection
"Abstract Impression"
New label Limb debuts in spring 2015 and is heavily inspired by art in all forms. The opening collection portrays barren natural landscapes, resonating with abstract elements throughout.

Limb’s colour palette for this season derives from the desert plains of California: surprising patches of refreshing greens made up of spiky twisted yuccas against the rugged pink granite boulders, six storeys high.

Drawing on the designers’ shared love of non-figurative art, the collection’s featured print playfully delivers simple geometric and linear forms.

Limb’s exploration of colour and pattern combine with clean design, refined styles and clear silhouettes to offer a relaxed yet sophisticated piece for every woman’s wardrobe.

All of these unique qualities cost time and most of all money. The money that we hope to raise from this campaign will allow us to continue with this special, unique production with in Melbourne and to keep our local relationships growing.

The Biggest obstacle right now for LIMB is raising enough funds for our first production run, after that will be raising awareness of our brand throughout Australia and beyond.

Through the process of designing and producing our first ever collection we have learnt that the Australian fashion industry is extremely small and difficult to navigate within. From this even more so than before we see the importance of keeping manufacturing locally to ensure industry growth within Australia.

Having production kept local means that we can be there every step of the what and have complete watch over the quality of garments being produced.
