With so many digital devices in our lives, carrying multiple chargers around can become a real pain, and one that worsens when overseas travel requires that you bring various international plug converters as well. 

Design.D is a charging and WiFi converter station for frequent travellers or those who just want to charge more conveniently. In addition to charging multiple devices, Design.D also enables you to convert any ethernet connection into a WiFi network, letting you make full use of the free ethernet often available in hotels while avoiding slow and expensive public WiFi.

Project schedule

This is our first crowdfunding project, and we look forward to hearing your feedback so that we can improve our product, and share it with more people. Funds raised through the campaign will go into improving future builds and versions of Design.D. 

It may not be hard to design a standalone charger, but combining it with a WiFi converter, smart charging identification system, interchangeable plugs for different countries and extension power cords was a different matter.

We spent much time designing, testing & improving the internal structure, especially for circuit testing. It took months of work to reach a final product we were satisfied with.
