Joffa is well-known in Melbourne for his involvement with the Collingwood Football Club cheer squad. But there's more to this man that the public doesn't know about. This book is not just about football. Sure, there's something about football in this book. After all, Joffa says that football kept him off the streets at a time when his life could've gone in a downward spiral. So this book is about football, living on the streets, a difficult childhood and working with people who are doing it tough. Most of all, this book will educate people about epilepsy. Joffa's daughter has epilepsy and so he wants to take away the stigma of living with the condition. The Epilepsy Foundation will receive 10% of the retail price of each book sold.

People who pledge their support for this project will really be helping from the ground up in terms of making it happen within our desired timeframe. What a great feeling to be there to help make something happen!

The production and printing of a book is very expensive, especially for a micro-publisher such as Busybird Publishing. But we know that there is power in the people and that this project will get fantastic support. We can then send money to the Epilepsy Foundation to help with education and research.

The money that we hope to raise from the Pozible campaign is to give it a bit of a kick start so that we can start promoting it. The money will go directly into the cost of printing the book. This in turn will allow us to sell more books and give more money to the Epilepsy Foundation.

Our only real obstacle will be cash flow. This won't halt the project but may mean it takes longer to get out into the community. We believe that the public will respond well, though, and will help with a bit of a boost in funding.
