My name is Imogen Brough and I have a passion for singing, songwriting, performing and inspiring. I am based in Geelong Victoria and have been working hard as an independent artist professionally for two years. My music is my own creation of Celtic, ambient and pop genres that together complete my own unique sound. I finished studying a Bachelor of Music Performance (Voice Improvisation) at the University of Melbourne, Faculty of the Victorian College of the Arts in 2012, and in 2013 was an artist competing on Channel 9’s programme 'The Voice'. I was lucky enough to work alongside Ricky Martin and had the time of my life! From this adventure, I have since performed at music festivals such as Queenscliff Music Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, the National Celtic Festival, Beechworth Celtic Festival, Aireys Inlet Open Mic and the Birregurra Festival. I have also toured Australia with Brian Kennedy (Ireland) and Michael Paynter, and music workshopped with Damien Leith. In the last couple of years I have also have supported many different charities and performed for their respective events, including the Cotton On Foundation's Run Geelong and the National Breast Cancer Foundation's Mother's Day Classic. I have also been lucky enough to be the ambassador for Geelong's very own Our Women Our Children charity, as well as supporting the Central Geelong Sidewalk Sales on Melbourne Cup Day.

I have put together this project to raise some much needed funds so I can record and release my second EP! Earlier this year I recorded four of the songs that will be featured on it, but being an independent artist I need your support for the last three.

I know that music is very powerful and because of that, it is something I want to be able to always do.

This project is important because it will allow me to follow my path to become a great singer and an inspiration for those who seek it. I myself know what it is like to find music that inspires me, so to know I can deliver that same feeling to others is truly incredible. I need help with recording three more songs, photoshoots, mastering and printing hard copies of the EP as well. So far in my music career I have worked with some wonderful teams of people, with whom I have been lucky enough to have had some wonderful experiences. But unfortunately, successfully producing my own music comes down to money, which is why I would love your support.

All the funds from my Pozible Campaign will allow me to complete my second EP! My music is very special to me and I love being able to inspire people through it. To make the best music, you need the best team of people around you! I will be producing the rest of my EP with some incredible artists - Michael Paynter and Mike Delo (Msquared Productions). These guys are wonderful at what they do. For the photoshoot I'll be collaborating with Toni Newman (from Toni Newman Productions - www.toninewman.com.au)  and Emily Abay (Photography - www.emilyabay.com.au). The replication and printing of the CDs and posters will be through another fantastic Melbourne based company, Implant Media (http://implant.com.au).

The songs I have already recorded are so motivating to me, and I know I need to get even more out! Here is a breakdown of how the money will be spent -

Second EP Recording

Three songs = $5900
Mastering of three songs = $600
Photo shoot cost = $1500
Printing & replication of EP = $2000
= $10,000

Some challenges that I will face getting this project up and running will be simply having the money. If I don't get the funds I need to record and release these last three songs, then this dream will simply have to be put to one side. This will delay the release of all the new songs by months and months, and the exciting momentum that I now have will slowly start drifting away. 

This needs to happen NOW! The timing is perfect, and I am in the best place I can be, my mind is full of inspiration, motivation and drive!
