Hobart is changing – I feel a buzz of optimism here, and people around the world are talking about the beautiful, creative and down-to-earth city we call home. But change brings challenges, and requires clever and forward-thinking leadership to make the most of our opportunities.

An essential part of what Hobart needs right now is a progressive, reforming, imaginative City Council. I've decided to run for election to be an Alderman on the Hobart Council.

This October, Hobartians will vote for a team to lead the city for the next four years. It's time for some fresh ideas and new faces on our Council team, and I hope to be one of them!

I’ve been doing a lot of reading about things that are happening at the local government level around the world. I'm impressed and inspired that so many cities are embracing innovative approaches to urban management and design that take people, the environment and the future much more into account than in the past.

I'd be honoured to have your vote, and work for you on the Hobart City Council.

If you think I would be an asset to Hobart, I would love your help....

How The Funds Will Be Used

Your donation will help me with the cost of my campaign, which currently are coming from my family budget! Your donation will help to cover the costs of printing postcards, posters and paying for a small number of advertisements.

The Challenges

Election campaigns aren't just about good ideas, voters need to be able to see and hear your name - and sometimes that costs money!

E-bike test ride & coffee

Wondered whether an electric bike might be for you? Have a test ride of my Gazelle electric bike around the Hobart waterfront and then I will shout you a coffee at the cafe of your choice!
