My name is Courtney and I'm here to share my ambition for providing healthy and delicious Korean bibimbap on the go.



When I work in the city, often i would get so busy I had to find something quick and easy to eat for lunch. The more I buy those easy, fast, "convenient" meals, the more I realised I wasn’t eating well. I over-ate, and I consumed a lot of sugar… which put me in a food coma – you know when you feel so tired and lacking energy after lunch? It's because your body has to waste energy on digesting food. I learnt that nutritionally balanced and portioned meals can make you stay active and less tired.

Growing up in South Korea I was always surrounded with tasty, yet healthy Korean food… Bibimbap is the most popular Korean dish that’s loved by all visitors, including Michael Jackson. Bibimbap is a single bowl meal, with rice, some form of protein, some tasty vegetables, a little egg then topped with sauce. There are more than 100 kinds of bibimbap traditionally, but I designed my bibimbap with hand picked local produce.


Here’s how my Bibimbap works:
It begins with a base of rice that’s been cooked in vegetable stock.
Then you choose your meat: Chicken, Beef or Tofu...
Next add fresh vegetables – mushrooms, lettuce, cucumber and carrot… and a little egg.
Lastly, choose your sauce - either chilli or lemon soy, and that’s it! - Just mix all the ingredients and enjoy.

There’s also vegetarian, vegan or gluten free options.

Bibimbap is healthy, organic, clean, easy and delicious, which gives you the ultimate comfort food, as well as being good for you!

I’ll have a schedule that will allow me to park my van in regular places, so you can rely on finding me each week. I’ll be in a different location each day, where in Melbourne CBD for lunch,  dinner and late night healthy eating(!) I’ll be feeding hungry crowds and post regularly about where I’ll be.

I want to provide healthy, convenient bibimbap for busy, motivated people, like you. In order to do that, I need a kitchen on wheels. This is why I’m asking through Pozible for your help so I can make, and bring this delicious bibimbap to you. With your support I’d be able to buy a van, install a commercial kitchen and bring it to the people of Melbourne.
