The solo show Absolutely tells the story of my journey from extreme introvert to performing in Cirque de Soleil. It's a personal, playful and big hearted show about unexpectedly finding a place to belong.
Now I am launching it onto the global stage with a tour to the largest performing arts event in the world, Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
I first performed the show at FRINGE WORLD 2014 as part of The Blue Room Theatre Summer Nights season. There it was very successful, receiving Runner Up for the ABC Performance Award.
ABC Perth called it “A small and entirely winning one-man show” .
This is my debut at Edinburgh and I'm excited by the challenges it presents. However I can't make this special opportunity happen alone.
This campaign was selected for inclusion in MATCH by The Blue Room Theatre, one of 17 independent arts organisations appointed by Creative Partnerships Australia to distribute matched funding, based on their capacity to reach, influence and work collectively with artists across different art forms.

How The Funds Will Be Used
Absolutely has been designed as touring show, so I have tried my hardest to keep my expenses down as far as possible. Even still, touring to Edinburgh is very expensive.
Your support will go directly towards to the following expenses:
Accommodation (1 month) - $3000
Publicity - $1000
Printing of posters and flyers - $300
Print distribution - $700
Video recording - $500
Social and Online Advertising - $500
I will not be earning a wage for the month I am there, and even with successful Pozible funds I still need to pay for other expenses out of my own pocket.

The Challenges
Performing at the Edinburgh Festival presents enormous opportunities, with producers, theatre makers and performers constantly looking for something new. So the only real challenge is adequate financial resources. Achieving that frees me to focus on performing and conduct the marketing required to make the production a huge success.
