Gina Rinehart Fan Club
Call to arms
"In the brief period of its much maligned life, capitalism has relieved more suffering, brought more wealth and more happiness to more people than all the prophets, saints, politicians, econuts, reformers and 'do-gooders' combined." — Lang Hancock (1976)
The three main aims of the Gina Rinehart Fan Club are to inform her critics:
1. That Mrs Rinehart has independent supporters, such as myself, who've never received money from her, her agents, her companies, her family or even her industry.
2. That Mrs Rinehart, far from being difficult, stubborn and uncompromising, is actually the midpoint of the Australian political debate, searching for a compromise between: on one side, the advocates of big government, like both the Labor and Liberal Parties (which have both historically and projectedly increased the size of government); and, on the other side, the advocates of a total free-market, like respected Australian businessmen John Singleton, Neville Kennard and other Workers Party supporters.
3. That free-market politics is more popular than all political parties combined. To claim otherwise you must devoutly worship political polls — including opinion surveys run by government agencies, like elections — which mostly ask how you want to control the money and property of others without their consent. This ignores what people want to do with their own money and property; we all demonstrably prefer to choose how we spend our own money than to be taxed.
Other aims of the Gina Rinehart fan club include:
4. To remind John Singleton of his radical politics and advertise that he read"Gina Rinehart Is Our Least Controversial Celebrity". I've read hundreds of his political essays — see my www.JohnSingleton.info — so it's only fair if I get revenge, by having him read an essay of mine.
5. To celebrate theCIS, the IPA, David Leyonhjelm's LDP, Bob Day, Westralia's saviour Ron Manners of Mannkal, the legendary Viv Forbes of the Carbon Sense Coalition, the ATA, Menzies House, Catallaxy Files, Peter Phelps, Cory Bernardi, Quadrant, the H.R. Nicholls Society, ANDEV, Andrew Bolt and others who are so brave and daring as to be about as moderate as the regular column in Australian Resources and Investment magazine by Mrs Rinehart. They're all unfairly labelled radical, stubborn, cold and heartless when they agree with our government system — including a government welfare safety net and "democratic" majority rule. So all criticism directed at them by the left should instead go to the pure free enterprisers, like John Singleton, Neville Kennard and other Workers Party admirers. Here are three quotes that clearly differentiate the Workers Party from the non-radical very friendly voices of moderation — like Gina, the CIS, the IPA and the LDP — who are the midpoint of the mainstream of the Australian political debate:
(a.) Here's the beginning of the Workers Party Monetary and Fiscal Policy Platform:
"Taxation is Theft. Taxation (which is legalised coercion and robbery by government) is no less immoral than coercion and robbery committed by private individuals ... Taxation can be replaced by: fee-for-service payments; and private bodies [including charities and insurance businesses] taking over many of the present functions of governments."
(b.) Here's John Singleton and Bob Howard on welfare:
"No one has a right to welfare, because all welfare is paid for by other people. To admit such a right would, to that extent, turn those who pay it into slaves."
(c.) And here they are on democracy:
"Democracy is inherently immoral ... by claiming to have a 'mandate' for all the policies in its election platform, the government of the day enshrines the notion that half the people plus one have the right to kick the rest around ... We are thus being conned into accepting the totalitarian idea that might makes right. But truth and principle do not necessarily have anything to do with numbers. One million people have no more right to enforce their will on one person than that one person has to enforce their will on them. If they did, then it could indeed be said that a lynch mob is democracy in action."
How The Funds Will Be Used
The Challenges
Another obstacle is that the many groups I named as friendly voices of moderation may misinterpret my praise for them as sarcasm. I am not being sarcastic. I agree we are all on the same team, even if I am only on the bench, in the stand or serving meat pies. I just wish that instead of trying to go down the middle all the time, that you might make more progress if occasionally you passed the ball to your team-mates on the far wing. Whenever anyone accuses you of being difficult, dogmatic, stubborn, cold, heartless and uncompromising, just tell them they are incorrect and must be thinking about radicals on the far wing like Singo, Nev and co. Another bonus of this strategy is: despite the CIS, the IPA and the LDP regularly featuring on the ABC, they can still criticise the ABC as unbalanced, for ignoring the high-profile popular pure free enterprise viewpoint.

Best Film Ever
Previous rewards, plus a new shrinkwrapped DVD of the funniest, deepest and most provocative film ever made: Chaplin's Monsieur Verdoux (1947). It destroys all justifications for the welfare state by showing it being tax-funded on a small-scale. A review of the film by some nobody can be found at MonsieurVerdoux.info. This film is too edgy to be discussed in Australian schools, think tanks or newspapers.
Prof Dr HHH Masterclass
Previous rewards, plus a shrinkwrapped hardcover copy of Prof Dr HHH's rationalist (Austrian school) free enterprise masterpiece The Economics and Ethics of Private Property.
VIP Backstage Pass
The previous rewards, plus receive my phone number. Feel free to propose something about how we may work together, especially for extending the activities and merchandising of the Gina Rinehart Fan Club. Maybe we can meet in person to plan our conspiracy. I'm also happy to discuss with you many ideas I have for taking things way further.
Corporate Sponsorship
It's depressing but inspirational that Gina Rinehart, the capitalist requiring the most government approvals and outside investment, is also the most prolific and outspoken Australian businessperson advocating free enterprise, writing regular columns and more. It'd be good if she was backed up equally prominently and publicly by other corporate leaders. She is bravely taking all the criticism at the moment (when the criticism should instead go to those who favour total free enterprise).
