If one concert just isn't enough, then why not two?!

The Sydneigh by Luna Light 'Anime Nightclub', hosted by Neko Catalystic will be a beat-thumping bass-a-thon that would make DJ Pon3 jealous!

Held at a licensed venue near the Convention Center, the Anime Nightclub will be a chance to let your mane down and party like Pinkie Pie till the early hours of the morning.

To be held on the Saturday night after the close of Sydneigh's Saturday events.

Note - This will require the 'Anime Nightclub' add-on ticket ($10 contribution).

Also Note - This is an 18+ Event. Valid ID will be required at the door.

As a second stretch tier, we will have the awesome privilege of bringing two cosplayers from South Australia over to participate in Sydneigh.

If this goal is met they will be joining our wonderful NSW cosplayers giving their expertise, tips and tricks for newbies and oldies to the cosplay industry at a panel during Sydneigh: photography, makeup and hair, modelling and explaining how they create the costumes themselves.

The three cosplayers are as follows: Tiffany Dean Cosplay: facebook.com/TiffanyDeanCosplay - a professional cosplayer and Ariana Snoswell (relatively new cosplayer who can relate to aspiring cosplayers and makes her own costumes).

They have a wealth of knowledge and experience and we'd love to help them to connect with the community here but we need your help.

If we reach our ultimate stretch goal of $30,000, we'll bring down the entire Michelle Creber Band, including Black Gryph0n for a special performance at our Friday night Sydneigh by Luna Light concert, and to attend our panels and Q&A's over the weekend!

Who knows, Applebloom might even find her special talent in Sydney and finally get a cutie mark!

Hi everyone it’s Sirri here with the announcement everyone has been waiting for, and boy is it a doozy! Prepare for the awesome wall of text

As you already know we essentially withdrew the Pozible because our backup plan ended up better than the Pozible plan. So
here's a summary of the changes and over the next week we'll give more detail.

Firstly: Friday Night.

So we have shifted the VIP Dinner to Friday night instead of the concert. This is a fantastic opportunity for our VIP ticket holders to hang out with our voice actors and other special guests. Sirris has some amazing plans for this one so if you haven't bought your VIP ticket yet I recommend you DO IT NOW!
For anyone not attending the VIP dinner we are currently in talks for various activities for the Friday night so don't worry, we'll have you covered.

Secondly: Saturday Night.

After some feedback and brainstorming ourselves, we decided we needed something that suited this community more than a concert and anime nightclub. As awesome as they would have been they would not have been awesome on this occasion but that's not to say it isn't still a plan for 2015.
As an alternative, we are honoured that Madman Entertainment has allowed us access to their catalogue of shows and we have been working with a few others in the community to have what will essentially be a cinema and board games night in the theatre. This event will be free! That’s right - FREE! We're still discussing the details but the plans are coming together extremely fast so you'll know soon enough.

Thirdly: Music.

Instead of the concert we are discussing with the venue to have a special jam area in the courtyard to showcase talented musicians for BOTH DAYS instead of just a few hours on one night. That's right, not only are we organising an opportunity for you to enjoy the creations from talented artists but there will be a schedule so you will hear a variety of music during the weekend. Registrations for musicians will be open soon. Please be prepared to give a sample or two and details of what you will be performing and tech requirements so we can work out where you fit.

Fourthly: Cheap Charitable Chow.

The ATP has graciously allowed us to have a charity BBQ for both days. All profits will be going to our Charity Partner, the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, so as exciting as it could be to put it towards a ball pit we think the funds could be better spent helping sick kids Not that we won't be having a ball tent though.

The Last Thing: WHAT ABOUT MY POZIBLE MERCH!!!!

We are working on making this available through the sydneigh.com.au store. If you pledged for merch on the Pozible we’ll be in contact or you can contact [email protected] to have exclusive access to the store before it goes up publicly.
