I was a palliative care Social Worker in the 1990's - this is a dramatization of one story....
The film is about three men who were 'saved' by their Aunt (Molly) from institutional care. She heard from her sister - their mother who said that she was giving them up - Molly said "No your not - I want them"
Now 40 plus years later, Molly wants to die at home and the three men want to fulfill her wishes. They take her home to care for her until her death. The film explores the different ways the men deal with their grief and the possible reasons for this.

The film is about the grief experienced by those who lose their loved ones. It is also about the people (nurses and doctors) who support those who are dying and their loved ones.. They give of themselves in this caring profession tiredlessly.

How The Funds Will Be Used

The money will be used initially for post - production costs.
Money is needed for the
graphic artist(approx $500)
and the editor(approx $1000).

If any money is left over it will be used to reimburse me for the money spent on production costs.
$1000 - cameraman (Jack Swart)
$400 -insurance (ACT screen)
$200 - makeup (Elaine Olsen)
$200 - Still photography and catering help (YesWeAre Photography)
$300 - catering
AND.....
There are many people who have given their time to the project for free or not been paid their worth especially the wonderful actors who put their all into their performances: Andriene Johns, Vince Melton, Tony Cheshire, Don, Smith, Michael Miller and Judith Peterson.
Our Aerial photographer - Brett White from White Knight Unmanned Aerial Systems
Chris and Don Burt
AND Luke Melton who has allowed us to use his original song "The Angel Affair in Dreams" and amazing piece of work from a very talented artist.
The Queabeyan Hosptial for allowing filming in the hospital and their support.
Lastly My wonderful friends Nerryl and David Wheatley who gave their house on their farm at Gunning to us for the weekend - I will forever be grateful.

The Challenges

I have already self funded this film and need to pay people who have the skills to edit and do the graphic designing.
Can never repay the people who gave all their time and "belief" in this project though.
It has been an amazing journey.
