PROJECT BACKGROUND
I have recently been selected to showcase my collection at the 2014 Australian Indigenous Fashion Week to be held in Sydney NSW on 11 & 12 April 2014.
I am one out of four Western Australian Designers that have been selected to showcase their designs as part of the runway collection event.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I need financial support towards making this fashion dream a reality!
Australian Indigenous Fashion Week will be exhibiting more than just original designs and products, this event will showcase a broad spectrum of Indigenous culture, filling Sydney with cultural performances, tourism experiences and visual art.

It can be extremely hard to get your label noticed, so when an opportunity like this comes knocking at your door - you would JUMP at the chance!
I have been given a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to represent Western Australia and use this opportunity to reach a broader audience!

How The Funds Will Be Used

Eleven individual garments will be all designed and hand made in Australia.

The Challenges
The risks and challenges that I might face with this project:
Lack of technical skills - which I have sourced a local pattern maker and sample machinist as I want to keep all products at a high quality & standard and all production within Australia.
Lack of local resources - which I am currently sourcing local fabric agents, printers and small businesses.
But I am always up for a challenge! I want to create some noise in the industry and with the help of my supporters - anything can be pozible!
