Rebuilding the nuts and bolts of the workshop includes rewiring and plumbing to make it safe for our members. We have had quotes from electricians ($9000) and plumbers ($3000) to replace all the old  wiring and plumbing, which has decayed over the years.  The Pozible fundraising event will get us off and running for our 2013 year of renewal for our workshop.
The Printmakers offer workshops to the public, keeping alive traditional printmaking techniques like etching, silkscreen, linocuts and even the monotype.  We have regular exhibitions at local galleries, including Back to Back at Cookshill,  Newcastle Art Space, and this year at Curve Gallery in the heart of Newy.
Our Workshop is over 30 years old, and one of the longest running workshops in New South Wales.  We exist with the help of volunteers from the community and provide an invaluable artistic facility for anyone who would like to practice or learn about printmaking.
